Volunteer at the Mississippi State Capitol –
A wonderful way to serve as a Mississippi ambassador!

Capitol volunteers welcome and provide information to guests who are visiting from Mississippi, other states, and around the world.  Hospitality is of utmost importance and comes naturally to our volunteers. 

What opportunities are available to serve as a Capitol volunteer?
Capitol volunteers (age 18+) serve in the following roles:

 

Hospitality Attendant – To greet and answer guests’ questions; orient visitors to the building, city, and state; share historic and architectural information regarding the Capitol.  Click here for full job description.
